A well-balanced diet and proper exercise will make you lose excess body fat without compromising lean muscle mass. A reduced calorie intake and a resistance training regimen will be a safe and effective combination to fat loss.

However, a visit to a doctor or registered dietitian and a consultation with a personal fitness trainer is the first step you should do before starting on any fat loss program.

There are also numerous fat loss pills, medications, and supplements that can help you eliminate unwanted body fat. These fat loss pills work by burning fat, blocking starches, or suppressing appetite.

Many of these fat loss pills can be bought over-the-counter at your local drugstore or order on the internet. But here’s an unsolicited advice, seek medical advice before you take any of these pills!
